We create custom lampshades for donated lamps in our store that are missing their shades, giving them a new life with a one of a kind design.
Create a unique lighting feature for your home at our South Austin ReStore! Start by selecting a lamp from our sales floor or bringing in one of your own. Then, work side by side with our ReCreateIt Gigalab Associates to design a custom lampshade, 3D printed on site using recycled plastic waste collected through the ReStore.
Our lampshades are 3D printed entirely from waste plastic that we collect and process on site. No additional materials or colorants are added. The colors come naturally from the recycled plastic itself. We offer a variety of designs to fit different styles and sizes of lamps.
Pricing starts at $20 and varies based on the size and complexity of the design.

Color Variants
By mixing different colors of plastic pellets, we can create a variety of shades. Below are the colors we currently have in stock for printing.
Please note that, due to our process, colors may not be 100% consistent between items or batches. You may also notice slight color variations from layer to layer, creating a unique look for each piece.

Our products are made from post-consumer recycled plastics. While we take care to clean and process all materials, minor variations in color, texture, and finish are inherent to the nature of recycled materials and are not considered defects.

Our products are intended for general household decorative and functional use only. They are not designed, tested, or certified for use with food, beverages, extreme heat, or any application requiring regulatory compliance. Do not use our products in ways inconsistent with their intended purpose.
⚠️Important Food & Beverage Safety Warning
Our products are not food-safe and must not be used to store, prepare, serve, or come into contact with food or beverages under any circumstances. Recycled plastics may contain trace contaminants, dyes, or unknown additives from their previous use that are not suitable for food contact. Additionally, the layered nature of 3D printed surfaces can harbor bacteria and is difficult to fully sanitize. This warning applies regardless of the plastic type used. Do not use our products as plates, bowls, cups, food storage containers, cutting surfaces, or in any other food-related application.

Products are sold "as-is." ReCreateIt of Austin Habitat for Humanity makes no express or implied warranties regarding fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or durability beyond normal household use.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ReCreateIt of Austin Habitat for Humanity shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or misuse of our products. Our total liability shall not exceed the original purchase price of the product in question.
